What is Livingston MomsTown?

Livingston MomsTown was created in July 2009 as the go-to website for local moms in and around Livingston, NJ. This website is created by moms, with moms in mind, to make your life easier...it's all in one place!

As moms, we are the pulse of our local community. We decide where our kids go to camp, where we buy their clothing, what gift to take to the birthday party, which realtor to use when buying/selling property, and sometimes we even choose the destination (and even make the plans) for our family vacations. Livingston MomsTown keeps you connected to local businesses and other local moms so that you can exchange ideas, get great tips, and find some good deals around town.

Livingston MomsTown is also dedicated to giving moms a forum where you can ask questions on just about any topic that comes to mind. We try to find helpful articles for you on various topics, and we are constantly doing research to bring you a consolidated list of events each month. If there is something that you are looking for and can't find it here please let us know. This website is all about YOU!

What is the MomsTown Network?

MomsTown was founded in 2003 by Heather Reider, mom of three boys; and Mary Goulet, mom of two girls.  Mary was hosting a radio show for entrepreneurs and they decided to combine efforts and focus on entrepreneurial moms. Through their weekly radio show MomsTown Radio on wsradio.com (live every Friday at 9 a.m. Pacific) and the Big break Program, they have helped hundreds of creative moms in business.

MomsTown is built on the belief that we don't stop being women when we become mothers. What’s more, we recognize there's a revolution taking place in school parking lots: Moms everywhere are awakening to the idea that they don't have to sacrifice family life in the pursuit of their own passions.

In fact, MomsTown advocates women are the best mothers when they are their best selves. It's crucial for a woman to live actively and passionately so she can be the best role model for her children and continue the creative process of her own life. This is the message Heather and Mary champion on their weekly radio show and in all the resources available from MomsTown.
