A Livingston Mom Meets Ima Earth
publication date: Dec 22, 2009
Even though Hanukkah has already ended, I have to tell all of you about my wonderful Hanukkah gift. I was at a holiday bazaar/party a few weeks ago when I met a very cool lady. She goes by the name Ima Earth (ima means “mother” in Hebrew), and she makes amazing jewelry in sterling silver and copper. The best thing about it is that it can all be personalized. You can view photos of her creations on Etsy, or www.imaearth.com.
While I was at the party, I chose to give myself (as a Hanukkah present) a necklace with both of my sons’ Hebrew and English names on two round pendants, and I even added a few other fun charms to hang from the necklace too. I was so excited…I couldn’t wait to see the finished product! I had already heard of many different jewelers who make these types of personalized necklaces (ranging from expensive to very expensive), but how many can do it in Hebrew? What a unique concept I thought! I was immediately sold. Then it got even better when Ima Earth told me the price. It was just about $50…WOW!!! From start to finish, Ima Earth did an amazing job! She was very attentive to what I was looking for and followed-up to make sure I had received exactly what I wanted. She is such a friendly person. I truly recommend her jewelry creations to all of you. They make great gifts. P.S.: Just so you know her jewelry doesn’t have to be personalized in Hebrew… English works just as well! |
